Local Activities & Sports:
This area is a sports persons haven! Definitely a place for
sporting people, as we are, ourselves. Within the immediate area there
is tennis and a public swimming pool, calcetto and
archery, cycling and horse riding. twenty minutes
from here are the famous Lepini mountains best known for the
International Hang Gliding Championships near Sermonetta. Also
a hikers paradise.
Twenty-five minutes to the sea and the marina at Nettuno
where you can hire sailing boats for the day or launch your own
from the jetty. There are private and open beaches that stretch
for miles down the coast to Circeo where the water is beautifully
clean and warm. Also you can hire windsurfers or bring your
own .The long curving bay and steady winds makes it ideal for all
sailing activities.
Golf:
Within 45 minutes there are a number of exceptionally
classy golf courses, such as Acquasanta (Rome Golf Club).
Founded in 1903, you can not only enjoy the immaculate fairways
and greens, but also see some of Rome's ancient ruins through
the pine and cypress trees alongside the course!
We also organise specialist weekend Golfing breaks to Rome.

The Allied Beach Landing site is only 25 minutes down the
road at Anzio. It is a moving experience to visit the huge
British and American Cemeteries. There is also a fascinating
Beach Landing Museum nearby.
Wine Tasting Tours:
Lismay organises local wine tasting
tours that often include a visit to the local olive pressing yards. This
is an exclusive morning's outing which takes you into the heart of
the local Roman families who for years have been producing wine and
olive oil. Lismay will act as interpreter
while you taste the wine and oil personally and experience the real
Italy, ending with a delicious meal at a local restaurant.
